Don't you GET IT?!?!? WRITE WHAT YOU KNOW!!!!

So there's this new trailer for a movie called "THE TV SET"!!!!! Do you get it?!?!? Because not only is it about the SET of a TV, or, TELEVISION show, that is ALSO the NAME of the THING that PEOPLE WATCH to get entertained!!! But wait, did you know that on networks, networks probably don't always let the TV shows be as good as they could be because of RATINGS?!?!?!? What kind of world do we live in where this happens?!?!!? And Sigorney Weaver is RUINING BEARDED DAVID DUCHOVNEY'S life?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I bet this will be rated R for quirky situations and dialogue. Oh joy, I can't wait. I bet writer/director Jake Kasden is thrilled that we all get to see one more movie about how hard it is to make movies and TV shows and those stupid people who give them money so they can make their shows.

(As an aside, I truly enjoyed the show "Freaks and Geeks" that he was involved in, and also thought the movie Orange County was an alright movie. And this probably won't be bad, either. You just struck me at the wrong time, Jakey "Son of Lawrence" Kasden. Wrong, wrong time. Don't mess with a financial services blogger during tax time.)

    You know, as a bit X-Files fan, I really want to love everything David Duchovny is involved in because I think he's really funny and a great writer, but . . . I watched this trailer and went, "Hey, who cares?" I wonder how much X-Files baggage he carried into this sucker. I probably won't see it, but there's no need to make fun of David Duchovny, qualler, EVEN IF HE DOES HAVE AN UNATTRACTIVE BEARD!
