Blogulator Video Games?!

Yes, that's right. The ultimate Qualler-approved video game has just been released. It is called Major League Baseball 2k7, and I am frightened, because it is actually the game that I invented when I was 10 and wanted to be a video game developer when I grow up.

You see, it combines, my two biggest obsessions -- baseball and music. On the baseball side, it lets me fulfill my lifelong dream of being a General Manager for the Minnesota Twins (yes, while other children dreamed about playing in the World Series, I dreamed of assembling a team via signing contracts and other business-related things that made it to the World Series.) On the music side, it features songs by Editors (they were on the Blogulator Top 50 somewheres!), Les Savy Fav, Wolfmother, Nerf Herder, The Walkmen, and The Jealous Sound. Yes, even the freaking Jealous Sound!! Does ANYBODY remember them besides Chris and I? The developers of Major League Baseball 2k7, that's who.

What's next, are you going to tell me that there is going to be a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie that is completely CGI and with a darker edge than the original movies?!

whoaaaa there. while this does make me consider the possibility of maybe someday playing a video game, i'd like to reassure everyone that editors were NOT on my top 50 songs list. likable? sure. top 50-worthy? helllll naw.

and the new commercials for tmnt make it look like they're cuddly spokesmen for domino's. while there seems to be a significant amount of people wanting a dark turtles movie (myself included), can we really blame them for making a kid's movie about mutant turtles that are teenage ninjas?
