Gossip Girl Promos are still one of the best things on Monday night television

OMG! We’re less than one week away from a new episode of Gossip Girl. In the meantime, these steamy promos keep me pretty happy. I actually start squealing with glee and jumping up and down when these appear on my television. (Editor's/husband's note: she's telling the truth.)

In the meantime, I’ve finally discovered (along with Qualler) the glory that is Lost, and I haven’t felt this way about a show that I’m watching on DVD years after everyone else has talked about how great it was since I watched The Sopranos a couple years ago. OMG! I feel like I can best describe my experience by likening Lost to a McDonald’s double cheeseburger.

If I never had a double cheeseburger, then I’d probably never want one. They look kinda m’eh. What’s the big deal about a double cheeseburger from McDonald’s, I’d probably wonder. Everyone else seems crazy about them, but…they don’t look like anything special to me.

However, once I’ve tasted a double cheeseburger, then I become immediately hooked. All I can do is think about is where my next double cheeseburger is coming from. And when I’m not eating them, I’m probably reading about them online. I have to really check myself and make sure I don’t eat too many though, or else I’ll just feel sick. Kinda like how I felt the other night when I woke up at 1am on the couch all confused and disoriented after watching hours of Lost, saying “no more Lost!” Of course, by the next evening, I was ready to go again.

Okay, Lost isn’t exactly like a McDonald’s double cheeseburger. I don’t feel that Lost is poisoning my body in exactly the same way. And it’s a wonderful alternative to watching more Secret Life of the American Teenager (which I suppose I am also still watching…but now I feel like I have more of an option to not watch it?) Amy went into labor and made it to the hospital in this week’s episode. Now there is only one episode to go until the season finale! Which means only two more episodes left of waiting around for the stupid baby to be born already. Oh, and Amy decided that she’s keeping it! No more adoption! Yay!

I have to go now, and watch more Lost. Look forward to a Gossip Girl rundown next week! OMFG, it’s about effing time!

I want to apologize for the shortness of this post. I meant to write more, but I was sucked in to watching LOST all night long. The thin line that separates me from insanity is becoming ever thinner, as I sit awake into the wee hours, watching episode after episode, wondering when Jack will find his father's body (or will he??) and what happened to Clair, and what that map really means...and why is North not where North should be???? WHAT IS THIS PLACE??????????
