Alt-Text is the worst...

Alt-Text is the little text that appears when you scroll over an image on a web-page. Usually it offers some nice tip about what the image is or perhaps a simple comment. Of course, in the realm of web-comics, it is used in the worst way possible. To add extra jokes.
The mustache is actually a really great way to get a head in business and acheive your many goals. Unless of course, you look like an idiot like Bill. Bill is awful. Am I right folks???

What's so bad about extra jokes? I'll tell you what: me, having to scroll over to read the little joke because the web-comic artist decided to leave the joke hanging in the image and they think it's sneaky and cool to complete the joke in the Alt-Text. And then I have to right-click on the image, and open up it's properties just to read the damn Alt-Text because my browser only shows about 50 characters before trailing off into ". . ." .

This practice frustrates me a great deal. The worst offenders I've seen are XKCD and Achewood.

This needs to stop.

(Above you'll probably have to right-click to access the sweet joke. Blogger likes to make all images into links.)

Best comic ever. How can I implement alt-text?!

Yeah, who knows about Muxtape. Some think it's a marketing ploy since Muxtape use has gone down markedly since it got popular.
