Stars: They're Nothing Like Us (But they are just like dorky teenagers)

Lazy Lady Amy blog post today. Sorry everyone, but in my defense, this video I found on People left me pretty speechless...



According to the People write-up about it, this just goes to show that Miley Cyrus is "just like any teen" because "she gets into trouble with her mom." Really, People? She's an average teen because she gets in trouble? Because this two minute video also makes me think that Miley is just like any teen, but more like because she is a total dorkus malorkus! She's hyperactive, makes up her own rhymes and dances, and makes "jokes" or maybe "impressions" that are so beyond my comprehension as a late-20-something that I feel like a grandma. Then again, maybe she's not like an average teen because none of the teens I know have girly, giggly, sexy spanking fights with their mothers. Bizarre.

    "Sexy spanking fight"? Those spankings are what keep her out of rehab! (See Lindsey Lohan) Reading that phrase I'm starting to understand why Brigitte and Qualler are uncomfortable when I use the "s****" word.
    Anyway, teenage girls are one of the three most overrated things in the world. I'm glad I don't have to deal with them (please, Tommy, don't get a girlfriend!)
