1,000 Blog Posts

Soooo, yesterday's post by Chris was a milestone of sorts. It was The Blogulator's 1,000th post!

(Cue ridiculous cheering, clapping, back-slapping, etc.)

When Chris and I started this blog way back in September 2005, I never would have imagined that over five years later, we would have written in this thing over 1,000 times. I thought that snarkiness would die young. But no, snarkiness never dies. It just evolves(*).

(*)For example: Golden Globes voters, Hollywood Foreign Press Association, whoever the eff you are, I salute you for having the cajones/perviness to nominate Piper Perabo as one of the five best lead actresses in a lead role of a dramatic television series. As a random group of people who may or may not exist, your commitment to always making sure you nominate at least one hot, young, nubile woman who is likable but undeserving of an "acting" award in some random category is, at best, weird, and at worst, pervy. Hey HFPA, is your founding member DoktorPeace?

And that is what The Blogulator has done. Now it has evolved into a monster, with more contributors like Brigitte, DoktorPeace, Sean, OHD, and Sam. And we must acknowledge our dearly departed contributors (no, they're not dead IRL, just semi-retired from blogging) like Lady Amy and Nicole. Bloggers, we thank you.

To our frequent readers, I say, "Thank you!" and "Wow! I can't believe you read this frequently!" Thanks, readers.
